Adding a Note
Notes are a way to track information and details about your case. When you first log in to your Justice Passport you will see two notes: Welcome Note, and your Case Summary.
Adding an Event
You can add important dates like court dates, due date, or reminders. These will show up as events on your event calendar. If you choose to share your passport with an attorney or legal aid staff, they will be able to add events to your calendar as well.
Adding a Task
You can add tasks to your Justice Passport to stay organized and keep track of the next steps you need to take. Tasks can include contacting another organization, looking for a document, filling out a form, or checking in with your legal aid contact.
Updating a Task
Tasks are a powerful way to track to stay organized and keep track of the next steps you need to take. You can update or change tasks that were created by you or tasks that were assigned to you.
Sharing Your Justice Passport
While the contents of your Justice Passport, including documents, photos, tasks, and events, belong to you, you can share your Justice Passport with attorneys and legal aid staff members by granting them access. If you decide to share your Justice Passport, the other person will be able to view existing content as well as upload files, create events, and tasks for you. This can be very helpful when meeting with a new provider, as they can get up to speed on your case quickly and work with you to develop your next steps.
